♻️ REDUCE
Reducing our consumption is one of the most important things we can do to reduce our impact on the Earth. We are a waterless company and all of our products are concentrated and filled the brim. This means you get the most product and longest use out of each Potion you purchase. Most personal care products contain 50-80% water. We’ve created formulas that capture the benefits of the water on your skin and from your tap, without putting it in the bottle (this means we can use smaller packaging and no preservatives). In addition to this, all of our Potions are multi-purpose. This means you can reduce the amount of separate products that you use, making for less waste (and less clutter on your counter). We believe in a minimalist approach to beauty because it’s good for your skin, and because it’s better for the planet.

♻️ REUSE
We chose the most gorgeous jars for our Bath Spells and Alchemy Masks not just because they are beautiful, but because they are so reusable. We use them as mugs, for overnight oats, to pack lunches in, as terrariums, for crafts...you name it! They are made in Canada so they don’t have to travel so far to get to us.
We’ve partnered with a local company to reuse their gently used shipping boxes and we reuse all boxes and packing materials that we receive from our suppliers. Everything that comes with your Potions order (shredded paper, tissue paper, instruction cards, packing slips etc..) are made form recycled materials and can be recycled and/or composted.
When choosing our mask mixing bowls we decided to work with local ceramic artist @jessica_danbrook_ceramics so that in the future you can also use your beautiful mask bowl in your home.

♻️ RECYCLE
You can recycle all of our bottles and jars. Our Magic Balm tubes are made of paper with a cellulose liner and can be either composted or recycled. The majority of our Potions are held in glass containers because they are infinitely recycleable and accepted in most municipalities' recycling programs. The only plastic bottles we use are for our Body Potions. We made this decision in the interest of customer safety since they are often used in the shower. Unlike most plastic bottles (which are primarily produced in China from virgin plastic), ours are made in Canada from 100% recycled material. We were able to source a spring-free recycleable pump (most lotion pumps are not recycleable), but ours you can toss right in your blue bin!

♻️ REFILL?
We are often asked if you can return your bottles to us for re-filling. Right now we feel there isn't a safe and sanitary way to refill bottles. We encourage you to either reuse them at home, or toss them in your blue bin. We are looking into the best way to offer a re-filling station for our bestsellers, perhaps re-filling at our booth once we are vending at markets again, or partnering with a local refillery. For now, check out our suggestions of ways to re-use our bottles and jars.

Glass Bottles
Our glass bottles make an excellent container for on-the-go hand sanitizer. If you have a large bottle at home, decant some into your dropper or pump bottle to keep in your car/purse/stroller.
The Face Potion bottles are great for making a travel size of your Body Potion.
If you like to make your own essential oil perfumes or diffuser blends at home, our small glass bottles are the perfect place to store your creations.
Bath Spell Jars
We use these for EVERYTHING! They are heat resistant so you can use them for hot or cold beverages, to-go containers for lunch, craft supplies, plant pots & terrariums. They are SO useful!
Alchemy Mask Jars
These are perfect for storing hair ties an bobby pins, spices, DIY body scrubs, aaaaand they make a great shot glass! ;)
Body Potion Bottles
We love re-using these as an easy container for liquid dish soap, hand soap and shower gel refills. Why use many plastic bottles when you can just keep using the same stylish, 100% recycled, made in Canada bottle?
